Born in Milan and raised in Barcelona, Alex studied Arts at the Escola Massana, where he decided to pursue a still photography degree. He then joined Bande a Part to specialize as a Cinematographer. As soon as he started to study, he got involved in big productions as a camera technician for the next 4 years.
When he turned 26, he decided to focus on cinematography and working on short films, music videos and commercials, where he got the chance to work with brands like Audi, Nissan, Iberia, Damm, Asics, Movistar, Lays or Glamour.
In 2021, he made his first feature film in Switzerland with Joan-Marc Zapata, called “Color of Heaven”. The premiere was in San Sebastian (SSIF), this last september 2022.
His first series for Netflix was shot last December, called “Contigo Capitán”, featuring Javier Fuentes.
He was awarded Best Cinematography with “Conte trencat” in FESCIMED festival; Best Cinematography with “The Forms” at the International FFF of Porto. He was also nominated as Best Cinematography with “The Forms” at the Barcelona international FFF and Nominated as Best Cinematography with “Bright Side in the minor” in Medina del Campo.
